Joe Gibbs walked into Interstate Batteries in 1991 with a pitch for a race team. He had no driver and no car, only a dream on a sheet of paper. The Pro Football Hall of Fame coach and three-time Super Bowl champion tells Justin Forman how that dream became Joe Gibbs Racing.

Coach Gibbs traces his path from volunteer assistant under Don Coryell and John Madden to head coach in Washington, then into the business of racing, where sponsors are partners and picking people is the job. He speaks honestly about the time away from family that he still second-guesses. He talks about losing both of his sons, J.D. and Coy, and the 18 months he spent wrestling with God afterward. He also shares the Sunday school teacher who taught him what a person actually leaves behind.
