We’re on a mission to democratize content and community for Faith Driven Entrepreneurs. That is why we’ve created three “road maps”. Every group or church might have different rhythms of meeting. Each of these road maps is uniquely designed to help you plan how your group might operate best. At the same time, they all offer some key elements.
Choose the road map that works best for your context. Beyond establishing your regular meeting rhythm, we encourage you to host a Watch Party for the annual Faith Driven Entrepreneur Live conference in September. This provides a kickoff to the next season of your group and it offers a natural welcome for new members.
Every Week (Small Group or Sunday School model)
The healthiest groups we see are those meeting weekly in a church. These groups typically follow the church's weekly small group or Sunday school schedule. And they embrace established rhythms of connecting on a regular basis. Entrepreneurs need regular community, perhaps even more so based on the loneliness we often experience. This is especially important since travel and family activities fill our schedules and make the times in between too infrequent if not meeting weekly.
Twice a Month
Groups meeting twice a month work well for online groups and local in-person groups that have some pre-built affinity, such as being a part of the same church, working in the same industry or living in the same area. It will be key to use the annual Faith Driven Entrepreneur Live conference in September as a kickoff and surge of energy to get things started again.
Once a Month
Some groups choose to meet just once a month due to schedule challenges. The infrequency of these formal meetings poses a challenge for those who miss. That is why many of these groups make it a priority to connect informally between monthly meetings. This can be through meeting to pray, grabbing coffee with other group members, sharing personal entrepreneurial journeys, or visiting each other's businesses.
For those who are just beginning their journey with our content, we recommend starting with our 8-week Foundation Series. These ideas and teaching provide a strong overview of the Marks of an Entrepreneur and help set your group up for long term success.
