Scatter.org is Live! A Free Learning Platform For Your Church or Network
— by Scatter.org
WE ARE LIVE!
Scatter.org is a free learning platform on work, calling, and culture, named after the concept of the church "scattered" throughout our world during their work week. We've designed it for people in your network. Users enjoy courses like:
The Holiness of Work, with Eugene Peterson
The Purpose of Business, with Jeff Van Duzer
Gender in the Workplace, with Denise Daniels
Bridging Faith & Science, with Praveen Sethupathy
Foundations of Work, with Amy Sherman
Technology: Recoding Goodness, with John Dyer
Each short course offers users access to videos, downloadable audio, group discussion guides, leader guides, scripture references for courses, and extra sources for further learning. Some use it for personal learning and growth. Many use it in either church or workplace small groups.
We have new courses coming out every two weeks or so. Upcoming courses to be released:
Bringing Your Soul to Work, with Barry Rowan
Redefining Work, with Tim Keller (in partnership with TGC)
Career, Motherhood and Identity, with Kate Harris
Faith & Co (in partnership with SPU)
We have just released our first course featuring partner content. Working with our friends at Christianity Today, we turned the This Is Our City videos into a short course for the general public: Why We Work. This course is rich with real-life examples, ranging from a fine artist to a furniture maker to an auto-mechanic.
We want to benefit the entire faith and work movement, and hosting the best content from others we can advance your mission.
