Dr. Emmanuel V. Dalavai

HR operations leader for public county hospitals

Passionate about cultural awareness and improving the multicultural literacy quotient of his clients, Dr. Emmanuel Dalavai has taught people from around the world to understand each other better. He has lived on three continents in places like India, Kansas City, Dallas, London, Paris, Beijing, Lyon, and has traveled extensively for work and pleasure. He is a lifelong learner and President of EVD Enterprises, a consulting firm he started several years ago that helps global business leaders better understand the complex worlds in which they live.

Emmanuel’s corporate career began in technical sales with SBC Communications & AT&T.  From that position he held several roles of increasing responsibility before leaving the company to devote himself to training and education in other fields. As a global business leader, he has worked in the telecom, healthcare and aviation/aerospace industries. Emmanuel has helped leaders to promote the positive aspects of increased cultural awareness, to bridge the cultural divide among various people groups, and has delivered cross-cultural and global language solutions to companies worldwide such as Marriott International and NASA.  

Presently, Emmanuel is employed with one of the largest public county hospitals in the U.S.A., where he leads about half of the hospital’s HR operations, and is also involved in strategy and integration across the enterprise. Previously, Emmanuel was employed by the Boeing Company, where he was the global leader of training, talent management, and leadership development for all 42 of Boeing’s largest supply chain management super-subsidiary. Furthermore, he served on the Organizational Change Management team to establish Boeing’s new Global Services business headquartered in Plano, TX. In addition to these duties, he leveraged tools such as the Hogan and ExPI assessments to coach several of Boeing’s high potential leaders at the Boeing Leadership Center in St. Louis. Dr. Dalavai currently serves as Adjunct Professor at the University of Dallas (and other academic institutions) in the Dallas/Ft. Worth, TX region. He possesses a passion for public speaking, and training professionals and students to equip themselves with the tools necessary to become transformational change agents in the marketplace.
