David Powell

David Powell is currently an owner and partner at Southeast Lineman Training Center, the nation’s premier trade school specializing in training electrical lineworkers.
He is also co-founder and partner of Woodwalkers, a documentary series that shares the real-life journey of men and women searching for a meaningful and rewarding career in the electrical utility industry.
He holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Auburn University, with his major in marketing. David was a walk-on strong safety during two seasons for the Auburn Tigers during his time there.
David is often training for various events that push his mental and physical limits. His greatest physical accomplishment was graduating from KOKORO Camp, which is considered by some, the most powerful and challenging physical, mental, and emotional training available to civilians. He has also completed multiple marathons, obstacle races, century rides, and the 29029 Everest challenge.
David’s passion in life is coaching, training, and motivating others to reach their full potential.
David has been married to his bride, Tami, for 20 years, and they have two boys Preston (17) and Hudson (13).
David currently resides in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
