Andrew Parris

Andrew Parris is Process Excellence Manager at Medair, a Christian humanitarian NGO based in Switzerland. He received his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from MIT as part of the Lean Aircraft Initiative. After earning his doctorate and spending a year in seminary, he worked in process improvement for Lockheed Martin Space Systems Company, mostly on the Atlas rocket program. Then he worked in process improvement for World Vision, including three years in East Africa. He is a certified Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt. His work and interest center around the application of Lean to streamline and maximize the impact of humanitarian and development work around the world.
